Description
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Project Engineer to join our team and oversee the successful execution of projects from conception to completion.
Job Description
As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing engineering projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure all project objectives are met and to address any issues that arise.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for creating plans for solar energy system development, monitoring, and evaluation activities.
Responsible for conducting engineering site audits to collect structural, electrical, and related site information for use in the design of residential or commercial solar power systems.
Responsible for designing and coordinating design of photovoltaic (PV) or solar thermal systems, including system components, for residential and commercial buildings.
Responsible for the design of alternative energy systems.
Responsible for creating electrical single-line diagrams, panel schedules, or connection diagrams for solar electric systems, using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
Support in the preparation of proposals, and negotiate purchase terms and conditions
Reviewing of specifications and recommend engineering or manufacturing changes to achieve solar design objectives.
Recommend technical design or process changes to improve efficiency, quality, or performance.
Responsible for developing design specifications and functional requirements for residential, commercial, or industrial solar energy systems or components.
Responsible for design criteria.
Responsible for technical direction or support to construction teams during installation, start-up, testing, system commissioning, or performance monitoring.
Responsible for performing thermal, stress, or cost reduction analyses for solar systems.
Designing or developing vacuum tube collector systems for solar applications.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related field).
Proven experience in project engineering or a similar role.
Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
Proficiency in engineering software and tools.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP) are a plus.
