Hobark International Limited (HIL) is the parent company of the Hobark group operating in the oil and gas industry. The company was incorporated in 1998, starting as a staffing agency based in Port Harcourt. Currently we have offices in 4 countries with our head office in Lagos.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Process Safety Coordinator

Location: Lagos
Job Type: Permanent / Full time
Job Description

Ensure the compliance of established process safety standards and regulation within the asset for all including contractors and local contractors.
Develop and implement process safety management programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with local and international safety standards and regulations. E.g., OSHA, ISO 14001, etc.
Conduct hazard identification and risk assessments, including HAZOP, HAZID, and other safety studies, to identify potential risks and recommend mitigation measures.
Investigate process safety incidents and near misses, conducting root cause analyses and implementing lessons learned to prevent recurrence.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field.
Possession of relevant professional certification e.g., NEBOSH is highly desirable.
Possess a minimum of 5 (five) years of experience in process safety management within the upstream oil & gas industry.
Strong knowledge of process safety principles, methodologies, and industry standards, including OSHA PSM and API RP 752/753.
Experience in conducting hazard identification and risk assessment, including HAZOP, LOPA, and SIL studies.
Experience with incident investigation and root cause analysis methodologies
Willingness to travel to field locations and work in challenging conditions as required
