Job Title: Female Live-In Child Care Giver / Handler
Location: Lagos
Job Description
A private family is seeking a compassionate and experienced Live-In Child Caregiver / Handler to provide comprehensive care, supervision, and specialized handling for a child.
The ideal candidate will live with the family and be available to meet the needs of the child.
The child is in school Mondays to Fridays from 8am to 4pm (excluding holidays).
The requirement is to care for the child when the child is not in school.
Key Responsibilities
Provide daily care, including feeding, bathing, dressing, and ensuring the overall well-being of the child.
Engage in basic educational and developmental activities tailored to the children’s needs.
Implement and manage care plans for the child, including handling behavioral challenges and providing personalized support.
Ensure the safety and security of the child at all times.
Work closely with the family to establish and maintain routines, therapy plans, and daily activities.
Qualifications
Basic training in child care
Knowledge of child safety and hygiene.
Experience in both general childcare and specialized care is an added advantage.
Experience in Special Education is an added advantage.
Skills:
Strong skills in child therapy and supervision
Patience, adaptability, and excellent communication skills.
Ability to work in a flexible, full-time, live-in capacity, including weekends.
Salary:
N70,000 – N120,000 monthly (depending on experience and capabilities).
