Job Description
We seek a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Business Development Manager.
As a key member of our educational consulting firm, you will drive business growth, foster and maintain strong client relationships, and expand our presence in the educational sector.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a rapidly growing company in Lagos.
Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the educational sector, including partnerships with schools, institutions, and educational technology providers.
Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales targets and business growth objectives specific to the educational consulting industry.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, ensuring excellent customer service and client satisfaction.
Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities in the education sector.
Utilize strategic methods to generate leads and initiate conversations with potential clients, focusing on educational institutions and stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business development initiatives that align with the firm’s goals.
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and profiles to clients, highlighting the firm’s offerings and unique value proposition.
Negotiate, follow up, and close deals, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements with clients and partners in the education industry.
Stay up-to-date with industry developments and market conditions to make informed business decisions and maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Proven experience in Business Development, preferably in the Educational sector.
Strong understanding of the Lagos Consulting market and trends.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Self-motivated and target-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office.
