Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic business consultant to oversee the daily operations of our vibrant and culturally rich restaurant establishment.
The ideal candidate will ensure high standards of food quality, customer service, and overall dining experience, while managing staff, coordinating with kitchen and front-of-house teams, handling financial responsibilities, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Management:

Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient and smooth service at Wazobia Chops.
Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and arrange for repairs when necessary.
Implement and maintain health and safety standards.

Staff Management:

Recruit, hire, train, and supervise restaurant staff.
Schedule and coordinate staff shifts, ensuring adequate coverage.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching.
Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that reflects the values of Wazobia Chops.

Customer Service:

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering excellent service.
Address and resolve customer complaints in a professional and timely manner.
Monitor and respond to customer feedback and reviews.

Financial Management:

Manage budgets, control costs, and maximize profitability.
Analyze financial reports and develop strategies for achieving financial goals.
Handle cash, and credit transactions, and ensure proper accounting procedures.

Marketing and Promotion:

Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional strategies.
Organize and oversee special events and promotions.
Maintain a strong online presence through social media and review platforms.

Business Development:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth through events and partnerships.
Develop relationships with potential corporate clients, event planners, and local businesses to secure new events and partnerships.
Build long-term relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Work closely with marketing teams to promote the business as a prime vendor for events and business functions.

Menu Development:

Work with chefs to develop and update the menu.
Ensure menu items are cost-effective and meet quality standards.
Monitor food presentation and portion sizes.

Qualifications

Bachelor”s Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience as a business consultant or in a similar role.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in restaurant management software (e.g., POS systems).
Financial acumen and experience with budgeting and financial reporting.
Ability to handle high-stress situations and remain calm under pressure.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Salary
N60,000 – N100,000 monthly.
