Anap Jets, a prominent private aviation company, recently celebrated its 10th anniversary of accident-free operations. Atedo Peterside, the company’s founder, made the announcement in a post on X.
Starting with just one aircraft in 2014, Anap Jets now boasts a fleet of six aircraft, maintaining a stellar safety record throughout its operations.
Despite concerns raised by industry stakeholders about aircraft incidents in the country, Anap Jets has managed to steer clear of any major tragedies. Nigeria has seen multiple air incidents in recent years, including aircraft overshooting runways and a single-engine aircraft crashing in Ikeja, Lagos.
In a recent update, the Federal Government launched a flight data center to enhance aviation safety and oversight.
Atedo Peterside shared, “The first @AnapJets aircraft arrived in Lagos on 20 December 2014. By the grace of God, we have today (20 December 2024) achieved a 10-year accident-free flight record with our current fleet of six aircraft.”
