Associates Consulting Limited – Our client is a fast-growing Indigenous upstream, midstream and downstream oil and gas group with interests in oil and gas exploration and production, gas processing, petrochemical/fertilizer production, and power.

They are currently expanding with some pipeline projects around the country and are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Civil Engineer and Draftsman

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports to: Survey and Control Engineer
Key Responsibilities

Prepare technical documentation and requirements.
Develop engineering designs and diagrams related to Civil & Structure in A-Cad and STAAD-PRO
Manage, design, develop, create and maintain small-scale through to large-scale construction projects in a safe, timely and sustainable manner.
Conduct on site investigations and analyse data (maps, reports, tests, drawings and other)
Carry out technical and feasibility studies and draw up blueprints that satisfy technical specifications.
Assess potential risks, materials and costs.
Assisting with site investigations
Liaising with architects, subcontractors, consultants, co-workers and clients
Provide advice and resolve creatively any emerging problems/deficiencies.
Resolving design and development problems
Managing budgets and other project resources
Attending public meetings to discuss projects.
Using computer modelling software to analyse surveys and mapping data.
Preparing project bids and reports
Oversee and mentor staff and liaise with a variety of stakeholders.
Handle over the resulting structures and services for use.
Monitor progress and compile reports in project status.
Manage budget and purchase equipment/materials.
Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety etc and deliver technical files and other technical documentation as required.
Assessing a project’s environmental impact and potential risk
Monitoring project progress and ensuring it meets legal and health and safety requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
Years of Experience in Civil Engineering and as a Draftsman.
Demonstrate specific knowledge and practice A-Cad, E3D, STAAD-Pro, MS Office, SPR, Navis Works etc.
